What is Protein Pancake Mix?

Protein Pancake Mix is the latest fantastic addition to our range of easy to make high protein snacks. Each 50g serving makes two delicious high protein pancakes that provide over 29g of protein, low GI carbohydrates from oats and omega 3 in the form of ALA from flax seed. Our Protein Pancake Mix offers a healthy take on what is usually an unhealthy snack due to the white flour and added sugar. GoNutrition protein pancakes are free from white flour and added sugar and deliver a premium protein blend made up of 35% whey protein 80, 30% milk protein 80 and 5% egg white protein 80.

Protein Pancake Mix is a fantastic healthy snack suitable to support all training goals. For those that train and compete on a regular basis a diet high in protein is essential for muscle growth, repair and recovery and our Protein Pancake Mix can really help you increase your daily protein intake. Furthermore, our Protein Pancake Mix provides 10g of low GI carbohydrates from oats to slowly release energy, making them ideal any time of day. Each serving of Protein Pancake Mix also provides 2.5g of medium chain triglyceride (MCT) health fats and 1g of flax seed which is high in Omega-3 Linolenic Acid.

How do I use Protein Pancake Mix?

Protein Pancake Mix makes it really simple to make these delicious high protein pancakes. To make the batter simply add two large scoops of the protein pancake mix to 100ml of water in your GN™ Blender Bottle and shake. In a non-stick frying pan heat a small amount of oil over a moderate heat - we recommend our Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. Once the pan is heated pour half the batter into the pan and cook for approximately 90 second or until the pancake is golden brown on the underside and set on top. Then flip and cook for a further 60 seconds until the pancake is cooked evenly on both sides. Once you’re done serve the pancake with your favourite toppings.

With over 29g of protein per serving and low GI carbohydrates for sustained energy the Protein Pancake Mix is ideal any time of day as a high protein snack or as part of a meal. Protein Pancakes are ideal for breakfast, offering a tapered release of protein and carbohydrates to keep you fuelled throughout the morning.
